The One Report

The report that shows a marketing department what lies beyond any agency's brief: What happens when the ACP differs from the DCP.

Dear Marketing Director,

Perhaps an e-mail, a letter, a colleague or a LinkedIn message led you here. However you arrived, let me tell you plainly what this is.

It is a marketing report and a customer report at the same time. It reads your website the way the market, the regulator and the search engine read it. It shows you the exact place on your own pages where you lose the buyers you had already convinced.

How can a website that ranks well still lose the buyer?

Almost everything written about websites is about visibility: how to be found. Very little is about what happens after a buyer has found you, has read you, and is three clicks away from asking for a quotation.

This is where the losses are. They are quiet. The buyer does not complain. He reads a claim about a regulation that is a year out of date and decides, without saying so, that the rest may be out of date too. He looks for the sentence that tells him whether this product is meant for a company of his kind, finds none, and leaves. Your analytics show a visit. Your competitor shows the order.

What will The One Report show you?

  1. Why buyers who have already decided in your favour leave three clicks before the request. The report marks the exact sentence, link or page where the path to your contact form breaks.
  2. Why a page that ranks first sells nothing. The report shows what the buyer reads after the click, what he looks for and does not find, and where the page sends him next.
  3. Why the search engine files you as a dictionary and your competitor as the supplier. The report shows the signs on your own pages that cause it.
  4. Why your compliance page contradicts the regulation it cites, and nobody has noticed. Every statement that its source does not support is marked, with the quoted passage.
  5. Why the wrong companies ask for quotations and the right ones never do. Page by page, the report shows where your pages leave open who the offer is for, and what this costs you.
  6. Why your customers ask questions you have never answered, in words you never use. The report marks crucial questions that have no answer on your site.

Every finding is tied to its place on your own page, one click away, so you can check it yourself in minutes.

What will you receive?

  1. The report as a living HTML document. You can open it, click into it and hand it to a colleague. It comes in the language of your site.
  2. A full HTML clone of every indexable page of your website, with every to-do at its place. The people who maintain your pages can work through it without reading the report. The clone is watermarked for your company alone.
  3. One hour with me on Zoom, after you have read the report.

The report contains findings about your pages and the sources they cite. It has no ranking forecast, nothing to buy and nothing to link. You can hand it to your board, your legal department or your agency without explanation.

What can you do with it?

Once the to-dos are done, a buyer who compares you with a competitor finds the competitor still carrying the faults. The advantage is invisible from the outside.

Why does no software deliver this?

Software subscriptions measure visibility: rankings, traffic, technical errors. Everything in this report happens after you are found. Every finding is read, checked against its source and signed by a person. No SaaS delivers anything similar.

Who receives a report?

Marketing departments in therapy and medicine, research, analysis, data management, security, telecommunications, environment, pharmaceuticals and the provision of essential services. In these fields the buyer decides on facts, and a wrong sentence on a website has consequences beyond the sale.

One condition comes before any other. What the company markets must demonstrably serve the people who use it. Where that cannot be shown, no report is written.

How discreet is this?

No client list is published, now or later. No case studies, no logos, no quotations. Your report is known only to you and to me.

Who reads your report?

I do. I read every report, check every verdict against its source, and sign it. Nothing leaves without my signature. Every report carries 25 years of experience in marketing and systems thinking.

What do you need to provide?

Your Google Search Console data is mandatory. The report measures what happens after you are found, and only your Search Console shows how your buyers find you. Without it, no report is written.

What does it cost, and how do you pay?

The price is 5,000 US dollars plus VAT.

  1. Write three lines by email to me@forsomeonly.com: your website, the market you sell in, and who in your company decides.
  2. Within a few days you receive my reply. If your company meets the condition above, the reply contains the invoice and your delivery month.
  3. Pay the invoice by bank transfer. The bank details are on the invoice.
  4. Give access to your Google Search Console data.
  5. Once payment and Search Console data have arrived, you receive the report and the clone of your site, followed by our hour on Zoom.

Reports are delivered in the order of payment.

Yours sincerely,

Johannes Faupel
